Prairie Business magazine invites nominations for “Leaders & Legacies,” a recognition event that will honor up to 10 of the region’s most successful and noteworthy executives.
“When you work at a business magazine, you get the honor of being around a lot of talented and influential business leaders,” said Korrie Wenzel, Prairie Business publisher. “As we annually honor the Top 25 Women in Business and also the region’s up-and-coming executives with our 40 Under 40 list, we’ve realized that we’ve been leaving out an important category. That is the genesis of our new Leaders & Legacies recognition.”
The 2019 Leaders & Legacies awards will be the first in what will become an annual Prairie Business tradition. Those honored will be recognized for “the great things they have done in business, whether in recent years (Leaders) or over a lifetime (Legacies),” Wenzel said.
Nominations will be accepted through the magazine’s website — PrairieBusinessMagazine.com — through March 17. Winners first will be honored at Prairie Business’ awards ceremony in Fargo on May 16, and then will be profiled in the July issue of the magazine.
Prairie Business is looking for business executives in North Dakota, South Dakota and western Minnesota whose high-level achievements make them truly stand out. Nomination submissions must include key details of the candidate’s business accomplishments, civic leadership and career history.
The nomination form is available on the magazine’s website, PrairieBusinessMagazine.com.
