Toyota/Lexus delivers high-quality learning to apprentices and trainees with a multi-lingual LMS

Not only is Toyota/Lexus a world leader in the advancement and development of automobile technology; they also provide exceptional training schemes for school leavers and trainees.

The Challenge

Working in such a fast-paced industry, Toyota/Lexus felt they needed to invest in a flexible e-learning platform that would enable them to extend the platform as and when required to ensure their apprentices receive the very best, most relevant and most enjoyable training possible.

As well as this, they needed a system that could deliver timely, sophisticated reporting to help them measure the impact, learning and development has on their business, and chose Synergy Learning as their e-learning partner to help them achieve this.

The Solution

Synergy Learning’s aim was to create a supported, engaging and attractive training platform for our client’s apprentices, to enable them to offer the best information, advice and guidance. This needed to be available in both English and Spanish to help them reach as wide an audience as possible.

It was agreed that Totara Learn would be the best platform for the job.

Totara Learn provided Toyota/Lexus with a solution that covers not only authoring and learning management, but learning plans to develop their apprentices and help them meet their objectives.

Synergy Learning’s ‘Rework’ theme package delivered a unique theme design and responsive layout. In addition, they developed an interactive image slider, grid-based home page styling, multi-lingual theme variation and a reusable course layout.

The Results

The platform has been a great success so far, and Toyota/Lexus are now able to reach more learners than ever before in their own language for better engagement and more effective use of learning content.
