The SaaS Report Honors Top 50 Women in SaaS for Leadership Excellence
Skilljar, the leading Customer Training Platform for enterprises, today announced that its CEO and Co-founder Sandi Lin has been recognized as a Top Women Leader in SaaS for 2019, the second year in a row she has received the honor. The annual awards list honors 50 women leaders from the software as a service (SaaS) industry and is compiled by The SaaS Report (TSR).
“It is an honor to be selected among such an accomplished group of women leaders in enterprise software,” said Lin. “I’m proud to be part of a group that is leading the way when it comes to embracing diversity and setting an example for future female innovators.”
Since co-founding Skilljar in 2013, Lin has led the company to a market-leading position in the customer education industry. Skilljar today helps customers like Zendesk, U-Haul, Smartsheet, Procore, and Cisco accelerate product adoption and deepen customer engagement.
Over the past year, Skilljar released more than 50 new product features, including multilingual Language Packs, a Zendesk integration and Skilljar Academy, a learning platform for Skilljar customers to streamline and improve their own onboarding and implementation experience. This type of product innovation also helped drive Skilljar’s customer expansion, which led to a 125 percent increase in hours spent in Skilljar’s training ecosystem.
Prior to Skilljar, Lin was a Senior Manager at Amazon. She has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
In addition to Lin’s honor, Skilljar has been recognized for the past four years with the Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Award for Best LMS for External Training and was recently awarded Best Corporate Extended Enterprise Learning System by industry expert John Leh of Talented Learning.
